ith this film, Sanjay Nayak, son of Oriya film industry’s grand old man Basanta Nayak and founder of Brajaraj Movies that has already celebrated its silver jubilee, makes his debut as a producer.
While Sanjay has roped in the most successful cast and crew of the industry for this film that aims for a New Year release in January, he has preferred to have fresh faces as the lead pair. “This is a story of love and romance between two teenagers and I had to choose the lead pair accordingly. Anubhav has already been a singing sensation in the Oriya album scene and Namrata is a Mumbai-based television actress with a cute face. And both of them are suitable for my story,” said Sanjay who has also scripted the story. The story revolves round the affair of the two teenagers without actually meeting each other. It is the gifted voice of the boy that makes the girl fall in love with him. But when she meets him later, coincidences cause hate in her for the singer. And finally, it is the magic of music that unites them.
As a musical love story, songs have been the soul of this film, said director Hara Patnaik who has also acted in the film. Lyricist and music director Swaroop Nayak has put in his best, he claimed.
